Changing waypoint icon sems to not working porperly

Is it me or changing a waypoint icon is not working properly ?


I have created 47 new waypoints in a new category by using the clipboard feature.


I've tried to change the icons of all the waypoints all at once, unsuccessful. When you look at the list of the waypoints, the icons have been changed. But if you open one of the waypoint itself, in fact, the icon still the old one.


If you try to edit the waypoint and change the icon, it looks like successful, but in fact, it's not. When open back the waypoint after icon change applied and saved, you can see that nothing has been modified.

sorry to hear about such troubles.


Please try to close/open Locus. Try to restart device if internal point database isn't locked for read-only. Because I'm not able to simulate same problem, I'll need a log or maybe your database and step by step method what to do (which points, which icon etc.) to simulate this problem.


Or anyone other has same issue that is easily reproducible?

I'm not sure what exactly Fifi means here with "waypoint", but I noticed the same with waypoints I set while recording a track (so they're part of the track). I can edit them (change the icons), and first it looks ok - but once I close and restart Locus, the icons are back to the original ones. Reproducible every time.

If this is another problem, I can open a new idea...

This is not exactly what fifi reported, mainly because possibility to edit waypoints as you do, was not available 6 months ago.


Anyway thanks for your report, issue found and hopefully fixed.

And because I have no response from fifi and I personally was not able to simulate this problem, issue closed.
