I have 2 phones, rather equal: both Xperia S updated with custom rom to NAOSP Android 5.1.1. Works really well.
Strange with Locus Pro (latest) is that one phone is able to 'download logs' and the other not. When it works OK, then I have a GPX created from gc.com, that comes per cache with just 5 logs. Then select a cache from the map and 'Download Logs', then the latest logs (and a lot more of them) are downloaded and shown. But on one phone it downloads logs by showing the percentage progress, then no extra logs are shown: it redraws the screen, but no new logs and no extra logs. The only way to get the latest logs is by 'Update Cache'. On the other phone it works great as expected.

Hello, not sure what may cause this, but I suggest to check your settings in geocaching4Locus add-on as this add-on downloads caches and logs into Locus. So I think it will be some different settings or some problem in this add-on more then in Locus.

Yep, you were right: I compared (as I should have done before), and it is as follows: in G4L in its preferences there is a setting that states:
Download logs update cache: which is a On/Off a toggle: On downloading logs also update cache data.
When this is On (active) then I get the expected new/latest logs.
When this is Off, then no new logs are retrieved at all.
I think this is an issue in G4L 2.0.3, as it should just 'download logs' as the button says. Even when the toggle is Off (inactive) and it is not updating the complete cache data.
Should I contact Arcao for this?

I just dug some deeper and became a beta tester on geocaching4locus. I then got offered the latest (but not yet fully released G4L 2.1 (1ef2913)) and retested: in that version it works OK. Even when the toggle is set to Off, I get the new/latest logs downloaded.
Before discovering that I just sent a mail to Arcao and asked for help. I expect he will read this topic and see this good result. Thank you guys!
