Hi Tomas,

there are some possibilities to navigate within Locus:

Using

A) tracks computed with online tools like MapQuest during WLan connection and saved in LocusDB

B) Locus add-ons Brouter and Graphhopper for offline use with their own ¨map files¨

C) downloaded tracks

Between these posibilities are slightly different methods to navigate, more see here.

[Thanks KaHeMu again :)]

Hello Tomas,

so that you understand - navigation doesn't associate with maps. Navigation needs routing data that are "invisible" which can be different from the map data that are displayed on you phone screen. As KaHeMu correctly wrote, true offline navigation with options of recalculation is provided by cooperating apps Brouter or, a bit garage solution, Graphhopper. Nevertheless I would recommend more information to find here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation
