Minor problem in handling vector maps from Locus Store

Solved

Hi,

I am using Locus Pro Ver. 3.15.3 and discovered a minor problem in handling vector maps from Locus store.

I.e. I have downloaded yesterday germany north from Locus Store. Because I did not find any possibility to download the correspondig strm files (for Höhenlinien / Schatten / etc.) of that map after downloading the map without the strm files, I decided to remove this map from Locus in the Locus Store dialog in order to download it again with the strm info direct after removing it. But when I did so Locus Pro crashes because germany north was the active vector map in Locus. If I switched to another vector map before removing germany north from Locus in the Locus Store dialog everything worked as expected.

In short: If you try to remove / delete an active vector map from Locus in the Locus Store dialog, Locus Pro 3.15.3 chrashes.

Hello c.s.g.

thanks for a report. I hope I've fixed it (not 100% sure, as problem seems to be little bit more complicated) :).

You will see in next version, in rare case this problem will be still there (somewhere in future), create for me a log please. Anyway I believe it won't be needed.

Thank you and have a nice Sunday evening.

Hello Menion,

thank you for the info ... and the perfect support as always.

If it happen to me again and I can remember your post ;-) I will send you an error log as described here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=de:manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log or here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log..

The only "problem" I see is that I have not a Dropbox or Goole drive account so far if the log file is to large for sending it via email.

Perfect, you are welcome.

Maybe you find useful also for your own needs, this service: http://sharegadget.com/ , which I other use for sharing smaller files (up to around 100 MB). Just a tip.
