Google/Wikipedia Search Results: Add Cancel

It would be nice to have a Cancel button on the list of Google/Wikipedia search results. Now you have to tap back twice to get back to the map.

Don't know if that was different with the old search (before 3.16.0).

Hello,

if I understand correctly, after you select few points in result of search, you wants to get back to map as fast as possible. And for this you wants to have any button directly on that screen, right? Can you imagine where and how it should look? Because nowhere in Locus is used such technique and I can't currently imagine some nice looking, non-disturbing solution.

Also, is really tap-tap to back button so slow? How often per day you perform any searching that require this return to map?

Btv. in case you are interested only in single point, it should be more useful to tap on this point in list and "point detail", tap on "map button", which returns immediately to main map and also center on selected point.

Now that you said it, have to admit you're right, it's only 2 taps. I just thought, a "Cancel" or "Return to Map" button at the bottom of the list can't hurt ;) But if you find that that doesn't fit, that's ok.

Anyway, one little additional thing:

In 3.16.0, when you search for something without result, an error message is displayed: "Whoops, a problem - Unknown problem, error code: 200". That's a bit misleading, at first I thought there was a network problem, but it's only that there's no result. I think "no result" is not an "unknown problem" ;)

In case, I'll get some usable idea how to speed up return to map after some multi-select directly in list, I'll do it, till then I will keep it as is, thanks for understanding.

And error 200 happen only in case of Google Places, right? If so, then consider it as fixed. Thanks

Yeah, correct, only happened with Google Places. Could you please also check if there is something wrong with the result display? I can't give you a 100% way to reproduce, but several times when i searched for a term, I got the results for the previous term. After leaving the search dialog and opening it again, the correct results appeared.
