Locus in lagging, if the zoom level of vector maps isn't at 100%

Hello

If I scoll on any vector map, it is lagging very hard if the zoom level of the map isn't 100%

Here some examples:

Zoom level 18 @ 100% --> no laggs

Zoom level 19 @ 100% --> no laggs

Zoom level 18 @ 150% --> hard laggs

Zoom level 18 @ 150% --> hard laggs

I don't know if this is a known problem or if this is a problem at all

I only wanted you to know, that it is laggy, if the zoom level isn't @ 100%

Good day Nicolai,

maybe this problem is somehow connected to your question about "Locus performance". Please try some steps I tried to wrote in your question. If this won't help, may you try to create for me an log by this method: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log . Maybe there will be some error during 150% scale, that may tell me more. Thanks.

Ah one more thing, write me something about your device, type, version of Android. Thanks

I just noticed that the problem isn't only with vector maps

The problem does exist in all kind of maps (online maps too)

Bad news: I just factory resetted my phone, but nothing changed

Same as before. At 100% zoom level it's very smooth and at all other zom levels its very slow

I would be interested, if there is someone else with this problem

Hmm this is what I've expected to be true. Quite hard to help here without your problematic device in hands. Btw. what device and Android version are you using?

You may also try experiment with special parameter in config.cfg (in Locus root directory) file dev_enable_accelerated_map_rendering , but use it please on your own risk and in case of troubles, disable it.

Unfortunately I cannot help here more, sorry.

WOW

it seems to be much better if I enable

dev_enable_accelerated_map_rendering

And in my thoughts the map is rendering faster too

Thanks for this hint!

Well it is a lot faster, but I remember there were some issue with rendering of points/tracks etc. Because of this, it is not official. Anyway I do not know what device and rom do you have, but I think, that problem with drawing of a map in other then 100% scale, it because of some rendering issue on your device. As I wrote previously, without a device in hands, I cannot precisely measure where is a problem, so I see no simple option here now.

yes I think that too, that it is an issue of my device

My device is an Samsung Galaxy S4 GT I9515 with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop

Anyway thanks for your help!
