Rotate map goes crazy while navigating at low speeds

When I start navigating from a stop or low speeds with the rotate map option set (on), the map usually gets crazy moving in all directions but the one I'm driving.

This happens while the phone is in the car "stand" attached to the windshield, so there's no phone movement.

The kinda work around that I found, is to turn off the rotate and turn it back on, while getting more speed.

But it keeps happening when I hit a long stop light. It's really annoying.

Good day Jorge,

I may suggest to check settings "sensors > hardware compass" and disable this option. Hardware compass is useful if you have device in hands and walk to your target, but agree that not for a car navigation. Disable hardware compass may keep your direction oriented to along your way.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: more about it in our manual: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:settings:sensors

Thanks, for that prompt and accurate answer. Now it's a lot better!

After doing a search and reading a bit of the sensors, I went to the settings, and even in the compass sensor it said that's not recommended for car.
