New activities "Alpine tour" and "Via ferrata"

After seeing http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/ski-mountaineering, I thought I could also ask for the activity "Alpine touring" ("Hochtour" in German) for combined climbing/hiking/glacier trekking. This is the main touring type you do in the high alps, and neither Hiking (much more than that) nor Climbing (not exclusively, sometimes not at all) fits it.

I imagine the icon would be like the Hiking guy, but with rope attached like the Climbing guy.

Furthermore, "Via ferrata" ("Klettersteig" in German) would be nice as activity, although I have to admit I can't think of any way to change the Climbing icon siginificantly.

Can't believe I'm the only one missing this activity, as it's the main activity you do in the alps when you're getting serious up the mountains (not meant as deriding hiking, do it all the time ;). Please, even if there's no other vote, it's just a simple icon addition and one more entry in the activities...

Hello Ingo,

very few things is so simple ... why all users should should see icon, that currently very low number of users wants? Even now, there is quite a lot of activities and I more think about removing some of them, instead of adding.

Sorry, because it seemed to be a minor deal with Ski mountaineering, I thought why not fill this gap? Actually, perhaps "Alpine tour" is the wrong word, and simple "Mountaineering" would be better.

Compromise proposal: Skip the activity (can live without it), but perhaps still add the icon? So I could at least mark my folders accordingly "on first sight". It would really just have to be a hiker with added rope to make it distinct. What do you think?

I like "Via Ferrata", I like "Alpine Tour" but I do not need to be so specific when I record a Track, it's just a tag on the track, the important thing is to record it correctly. There are thousands of activities, we don't need to list them all in locus. You can always rename the track according to your activity.

This is IMHO but I always think the simpler the better. Sometimes we spent to much time on our devices and we forgot the beauty outside.

Well, in the end I probably was just hoping for an icon :)
