Width of recorded track and size of route points in guidance mode

Solved

Hi

In Locus 3.22.2. I have defined in Settings-Recording profile-Track width: 4px.

Also I have set the folder in which the recorded tracks are stored as: Data-Recorded-Line style-width: 4px

When I export the tracks as Kml/Kmz the width of tracks are not 4px but something else. Today my recorded track was 1.3333334px width, yesterday was 6.6666665px !

So I want them to be 4px width.

Attached below are my exported settings file. Am I missing something in settings ?

My second question:

I would like to reduce the size of route points when in guidance mode, and sometimes I would like to make them even completely invisible in order to better see the underlying chart (see attached screenshot). Is there any settings I can adjust to make this possible ?

Good day Svjetlana,

thanks for a report about a problem with line width. It's quite serious problem in Locus itself. I'll have to reset all line width values to next version to solve this problem. But it has a solution ... so consider it as solved.

About icons in guidance mode ... I do not expect, you look on a map with such low zoom level. In higher zoom level, there won't be so much icons at one place, so I think it is not a problem then. Anyway some change of icons is not possible now.

Hi Menion,

Thank you for the solution of the recorded track width.

Regarding size of "route points": as long as I use Locus, I actually never needed the points to be visible, since they are anyway auto-generated by either, a route drawing tool, i.e. GPSies, or Locus. If the "Line style-Mode" of the route is set to something different than Simple color, i.e. Change of elevation, I find the points somewhat obstructing the overview of even, the route itself.

So it would be nice if there would be a new/additional setting in Guidance-Points-Show route points: ON/OFF (or maybe a setting in config.cfg), by which an user can turn the point's visibility on/off. Sure, this is just an idea.

The problem, that I see, with implementation of such a setting would be: how Locus would differentiate an ordinary, auto-generated route point from the way point intentionally placed by an user to mark a specific place.

Anyway, as you said, if I look at the map in higher zoom level, the points aren't so bad.

Hello,

thanks for explanation. I'm looking on it, and I really think that choice of color and size of these icons is quite unobtrusive. I was thinking about making them smaller, but they already are so small :). Sorry.
