A POI manager compatible with Locus is required.

Imagine the task: user wish to create his own POI list on the big screen of PC and after that save them all as kml/kmz/gpx and transfer them to Locus on the smartphone.

Up to know, I see only two solutions, and each of them have significant shortcomings:

The first way: User can install "POI pocket" application on the PC and on the smartphone. Create the POI list on PC => open it on smartphone => save each of POI as individual kml/kmz/gpx file => oven each file with Locus app and import the POIs one by one. The first shortcoming is impossibility to transfer all POIs in one file. So this way is quite time consuming and boring. The second problem is impossibility to set icon of the POI, URL line, and other parameters of the POI while user is in front of the big screen of the PC.

The second way: User can save all POIs as saved places in Google Maps => save all them as zip archive => unpack to json file => convert to kml => import to locus. The good news is that user can transfer a lot of POIs in one file, but the bad news is that user can not set even title and description of the POIs while he is in front of the big screen of the PC. Of course to set icon or url line while user is in front of the big screen is also impossible.

That's why I suggest the Locus Team to create a web interface of POI manager compatible with Locus app. In this interface user will be able to set all parameters of POI including title, description, url line, icon etc. while he is in front of the big screen => after that he will be able to save all of them (or part of them) in one kml/kmz/gpx and transfer them to the Locus app on the smartphone. And this POIs in locus app on the smartphone will already have desirable titles, descriptions, url lines, icons and so on, because user already set them while he was in front of the big screen.

I need such interface, I think I'm not only one, am I? =)

I have sometimes used Garmin Basecamp (free) on a PC to create POI. I can export them into single GPX file & import into Locus in single step (including icon & title). Quite simple & reliable to do.

If you want a browser-based solution, try http://caltopo.com (free). Use "Add Marker" to create waypoints then "Export -> Download GPX file". Import into Locus Map.
