Mountain passes

Hi!

I bought and use Locus Map Pro for touring with my motorcycle around the Alps. I am interrested about riding on mountain passes and I observed that on the Locus maps there are not highlighted. Please help me to highlight these places of passes as I can plan my route over these.

Hi,

you're right Mountain passes are really missing in LoMaps and it seems to be common element of traditional maps. We'll add them into next version of LoMaps maps.

I bought already a lot of EU country LoMaps. Then I will have to pay again for the maps updated with mountain passes ?

But, tell me please, how can I observe when the new LoMaps with the highlighted mountain passes are arrived in the LocusMap store?

Hi,

there isn't any automatic notification about new version. You can manually check for new version in Locus Store. Please open Menu > Store > Right panel (menu) and click on "Check updates".

I expect new version of LoMaps in second half of August.

Hi,

I'd like to inform that the mountain passes are available in LoMaps. The latest version of LoMaps and Locus App is needed. Passes are highlighted only in Hike & bike and Ski themes.
