When I try to use Contact add on, the Locus shows me the first screenshot.

When I also established Locus it shew me the second screenshot.

Finally I can't use AR addon because it doesn't show me on the camera the points. Is it a problem that my phone hasn't got a Compass sensor?

Hi,

have you enabled Enable periodic updates for Add-ons in Locus-settings --> Miscellananeous?

Hi, if you want to use Contacts addon, you have to enable periodic updates in settings and you have to login to My Locus profile - from there Locus reads your contacts you want to display on map. AR addon does not work without hardware compass.

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand from where to log in to my profile and in which place I will see my contacts. Can you please explain me farther more. Thank you for your help.

I consider if there is a problem with my device. I have always enable periodic updates but I can't see my contacts.

My Locus profile is required e.g. when you need to enter Locus Store or use Live tracking. So go to Menu > Locus Store and log in. More about addons: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:add-ons

Hello GET,

sorry for a problems with add-ons. Let's try to solve it.

I've incorrectly informed Michal about add-on requirements. So to clear it = periodic updates are not necessary for these add-ons!

Error you see when using "Contacts", is not even translated as you may see, because I never saw it happen. From code I see that it may happen only in case, add-on is installed, but for some reason, Locus Map is not able to connect to it.

So my first question: do you have latest versions of Locus Map and also this add-on installed from Google Play?

As I think about it, "Contacts" add-on is quite old and you probably have Android 6 right? Maybe this add-on needs an permission confirmation to access to contacts in a new way ( confirmation in moment it is needed ). You may anyway try to open list of installed apps in your device > Locus - addon Contacts > Permissions > and check here only visible "Contacts" permissions. Maybe this will help.

Hello Menion

As you can see from screenshots my device is Galaxy J3 with 5.1.1 android, rooted. Locus is the last version. Also in the device app settings there is nothing for permission to check. I can't understand which is the problem. Is there any problem with root? Also I have installed Xposed Framework.

Thank you for extra information.

Not sure if you wants to invest some more time. As I wrote, I have no idea why this does not work!

What we may try now, is to create a log right after "contacts screen" with error appear, by this method.

There is chance that in log will be information from system, why this does not work. Thanks
