Using purchased maps on more than one device/account

Hello

I would highly appreciate if purchased maps could be used on more than one device/account. I do not mind if all our family members have to buy locus pro individually, but the maps should have to be bought only once (maybe for a small premium).

Dear Florian,

thank you for idea. I'd like to say that you can use purchased maps on more devices but you need to use the same account (you can for example copy the map files manually between several devices). This is the main requirement of the map publishers because they want to limit the illegal sharing of their maps. I'm sorry but I have to reject this idea because it's almost impossible to implement such system.

Why do I loose my POI and vector maps when i change devices? Is this not backed up someplace?

There are more possibilities. You can download the LoMaps from Locus Store during one year from the last purchase or update for free. You can manually copy the map files between devices and finally I'd like to say that we're working on backup system that enables to backup maps into personal Dropbox or Google Drive.
