Possible to disable automatic backup success notification?

While I definitely appreciate automatic backups, I'd prefer to not be notified each time they run successfully. Is it possible to disable the "Automatic backup - Process successful" notification? I can't seem to find an option anywhere. Thanks much!

Nathan:

Android 7+ devices (6 I do not remember) have the ability to enable / disable notifications.

This could be a solution ;-)

Hi guys,

what Condor wrote was possible in older versions of app, not in latest. Currently it is not possible to disable these backups.

Idea here was, to let users know that really all went well and all precious data were correctly saved.

What you consider for ideal solution here? No notifications at all? Notifications only in case of any problem?

In my opinion notifications in case of problem only. The backup is automated so user doesn't have to care about backing up – so there's no reason he should care about successful backup in the background unless there's some error preventing backup creation.

Menion:

I wrote about the Android system where it is possible to set up any particular notification (On, Silent, Off).

In the case of new changes to Locus, of course, only an error notification

Ah understand. This anyway block all notifications at all. There is not much of them in Locus, but ...

Anyway thanks for a feedback, I'll reconsider this decision, but I'll disable them in case of success most probably.

EDIT: changed, "error only" now

Thanks for the suggestion Condor.

Yes, in recent versions of Android its possible to disable notifications on a per app basis, however that would disable ALL notifications from Locus. I only want to disable the "backup successful" notification.

I'll second R3gi's recommendation, notifications in case of a problem would be the better option. Failing that, an option to disable the success notification would be great.

+1 notifications in case of problem only

the backup notification should just GO AWAY WHEN READ --- if I'm out in the woods during the scheduled backup date, well, that notification is really annoying because it CAN'T BE DELETED and stays there till you return into the land of wifi

Hi,

just swipe it sideways and confirm one more dialog that you want to abort the action.

best regards
