View field icon stuck in the center when obtaining location

Solved

Good day,

Since the last update the view field icon freezes in the center of the map/screen untill the location is obtained. When locus locks the location the icon goes back to it's intended place.

Seems like a minor bug.

BTW, the update is great as always. Thank you guys.

Hi,

the view field is always by default located in the center. When you start Locus, it is placed on last locked location. When Locus locks another location, it moves there. If it is otherwise in your case, I can't simulate it.

Hi Michal,

Before the update it was as you described. Now when I start Locus the view field is fixed in the map center (and moves with it) untill the location is locked, than moves to the location as it should be, when locked.

Android 5.1

Map center icon disabled, if this helps

I got it. It "moves" with the map cursor until GPS position is fixed. The question is, is it a bug? :) Its task is to display the direction of your view (of your phone orientation). And it displays it correctly.

Well, I have restarted the phone and it is back to normal. Staying in my last locked location when I start Locus and not in the center. I am sorry for the inconvenience, Michal.

Don't worry, at least we know there's not an issue with it :)

Sorry again, this problem remains. I just have been outside and locus locked immediately. Now, when I am indoors and locus can't lock the location, it is the same. İmagine if the view field behaved exactly like a center cross icon. Always staying in the center when i move the map and ALSO rotating to show the orientation of the phone. Then when location is fixed it "magically" moves to the locked location and "unites" with location or moving cursor.
