Phone rotation in point screen resets icon to folder default
Solved
Go to Data > Points > tap a folder > tap a point > tap arrow up > edit.
Tap the point's icon and choose another one. Rotate your phone by 90° and the icon change is lost in v3.1.3.
I did only observe it for the icon, all other information (description, position, address, url, photo attachment) is not lost after rotation - hence, one is not used that any change is lost just because display orientation changed, which happens very often when phone lies on the table in train/car/...

I'm sorry, but I'm unable to simulate this problem.
Is this happen also for completely new point? I mean just add new point into any folder with some internal icon. Then try to edit and try to simulate same problem.
Maybe you use some custom icons for waypoints and this may cause this problem (I wasn't able to simulate it even with custom icons, but I just try to circumstances, that has influence on this problem).

I am able to simulate it, also with a new created POI.
This behavior exist till you save a new icon one times, after that another selected icon din´t change while rotating the device.

Hello Menion. As balloni55 wrote it happens also for new points, so after pressing the icon with blue plus in right button bar, and then directly editing the point. It does also happen when the folder & the point have an icon from Locus standard icon set (e.g. i in brown background) and I choose another icon from Locus icon set for the point. Cheers, Georg

Quite interesting that I wasn't able to simulate it when I tried it and now, seems I see same issue as you. Fine. So it will be fixed in next version, thanks!
