Add Nearest Points to More Functions list

I'd like to access the new Nearest Points map tool from settings>more functions. At present there are only 3 items listed in the map tools section of the customization list, which is inconsistent with the growing list of available tools. I think all the new tools should be available from here too, then main screen button space is not required. Thanks.
I like this idea 
100% agree - incl. Panoramio and alike. Menion argued in earlier post (when I asked for such) that the latter could not be done. I do not understand why an event from the settings menu would be different from an event issued by the map tool ...
