Add maps provided by National Land Survey of Finland.

Completed

National Land Survey of Finland opened their map data last year and a local non-profit foundation Kapsi created a tile server with those. As the data is the most accurate data available in Finland (and includes important stuff for hiking etc), it would be great to have it in Locus.

The data is available through http://kartat.kapsi.fi, with TMS-servers at

http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/peruskar... (basemap)

http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/taustaka... (background, not needed in Locus IMO)

http://tiles.kartat.kapsi.fi/ortokuva... (aerial)

If you need any additional information, feel free to ask :)

Good day Kimmo,

if I read correctly "Terms of use", these maps are freely available for free or commercial apps right?

I`ll add them into Locus for normal online view and write them for confirmation and additional information. Thank you for a tip

Yeah, the maps are free for all usage. Also the license allows the data to be cached (and also the server provider, Kapsi allows this.

The full license is provided at http://www.maanmittauslaitos.fi/en/NL...

fine, maps will be in next version with ability to cache, but for now without ability to mass download. For this, we`ll contact map owner. Thank you for a nice tip and enjoy Kapsi.fi in Locus

we`ve just received official confirmation from National land survey and they allow access to their maps together with small downloading.

So in next version will be enabled downloading of their tiles with standard limit 10.000 tiles per day and also increased a little bit speed of online access. Enjoy it
