Ant+ average speed

Hi,

Is it possible to get an average speed based on data from ant+ bicycle speed meter?

I heard that speed from sensors is even recorded to gpx file, but i can't find any data from speed sensor shown in locus, only instantaneous speed.

Good day Ws_just,

if you export recorded track into GPX file version 1.1, and this GPX will contain speed values for a trackpoints, then this speed comes from your sensors. Without a sensor value, no speed will be visible in GPX files.

In Locus, when you display detail of any trackpoint, speed value is primary from the sensor and if this is not available, it is a computed value (from time & distance).

I personally check recorded speed from sensors in the chart. Just display track chart and in the bottom left settings button choose for a chart axis "Speed (sensor)" parameter. Just for your information: average speed value is not computed from recorded speed values, but really just as a divider of travel time and travelled distance.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask me with additional questions if any.
