Backups fail since 3.03.2017

The last auto backup was at 3.03.2017 and locus pro did not make any manual backup now. There are enough memory avaiable. The last backup was 121 MB. Are there limits for backups? Screen see attachment.

Good day,

when you try to create a manual backup over Backup manager, what happen? It fails with some error message? There should be no limit.


In this case, I may for now suggest to set "automatic backup" again in backup manager feature.

Since one week I try many manual backup tests. All have the same error message. See attachment from first post. I try also many automatic backups settings. Now I try a other backup directory and thats a message "Locus Map Pro - Automatsche Sicherung / Prozess nicht erfolgreich". If i touch this massage nothing happens. See another attachmend. Now i change backup directory back to "Standard".

Where is the attachment from the first post? Where my last post from 24.03. circa 1 o clock P.M. with the attachment?

I never saw attachment in first post, so I cannot help here.


Anyway to your problem. Thanks for additional information. Because I have no detailed information or log, it's hard to say where is a problem.

What Android version are you using? Do you have backup directory set to default Locus/backup location or to some custom location on SD card?

Probably best should be if you may try to create a error log by this method, right after backup fail. In log should be error message from Locus with some additional information. Thank you and sorry for a complications!

Good day,

thank you for a screenshots. I'm worried this problem will be hard to solve without a log I requested in my previous post.

Only what may affect if backup will be correctly done are:

- space in device memory

- read-write access to required directory


May you please check that you have enough free space in "/storage/xxxx-xxxx/" directory. And also please check Locus > Settings > Misc > Default directories. Here is settings named "Set 'backup/' directory". Is here set "Default" value or some custom path? Suggest to set here "default" directory by cross button on right side.
