Bad location by WiFi/BTS

myneur shared this problem 10 years ago
Solved

When I am in civilisation (e. g. connected on WiFi) without GPS signal, Android (Google maps) knows my location (with some uncertainity what he can find by networks/BTS around):

But Locus thinks he is on a random place:

Locus loose his position even if I lost/turn-off GPS signal just temporarily. He doesn`t go to the last position but moves to some strange place before he finds GPS even if Android maps knows where I am at least approximately.

This error is there from the start, I just encounter it now more often because using it more frequently.

I was just looking on this problem few days ago. So in next version, this will be a little bit improved. We`ll see if results will be better and you`ll be correctly in Prague ;)
