TLDR: Phone crash due to overheat. Locus Map Pro ask me accept License again. Can't accept without internet. No access to offline map, bad hiking experience.

--

I was out for hiking today and use Locus Map Pro for offline map and track recording. It was all fine until the device overheat and shutdown itself.

When it cool down and restarted, the tracks is no recording, so i natually open the locus map app.

It asked me to accept the license (which i have accepted already), and I try to accept agin.

Because this hiking route do not have any mobile base station. This step fails.

At this moment, the "recording" notifcation come up again. Clicking on the notifcation tell me a library is missing.

I guss it was still recording, just no can't open the map.

After some hour of hiking without access to map, I have internet access again.

I accept the license again. It pass that step without any download (so the "library is missing" error was misleading)

The record tracking continue automatically, but the track record duing the "no license" period have lost.

Good day Daniel,

I'm sorry to hear about such problems with Locus Map app and your lost data. Request on confirmation of license and additional required internet to check libraries is weird, because it should only mean that app lost some of it's internal settings. First screen with license confirmation is needed only in case, app is started for the first time!

So to be true, I do not know how may I help you here. What happen is some serious hardware failure that caused unexpected problems to running application. Such crash is unique and almost 100% without possibility to simulate on different (my testing) device. So I see no option how to help here, sorry.

If there is something I may do for You, please let me know. Thanks for understanding.
