Change the time/distance circle colors and guiding lines depending of map used

Fifi shared this idea 10 years ago
Declined

Explanation :

1. Your are currently navigating

2. The map you use doesn`t have the information you need, but, another map has it. So, you change map.

3. Because of the different color of the new map, the time/distance circles and guiding lines are not easy to see on this new background.

Idea :

Add an option to assign circle colors by map.

Good idea or not ?

Best regards !

Idea is good, but if the price is speed of map rendering (while analysing background color and choosing lines/cirles color) - then let it be "as is" ;)

Thanks for your comment Vitalli.

The idea is not to adjust automatically the color in real time to the map / background or to choose the color each time you swap to a different map.

The idea is to choose by yourself and define manualy the color you prefer, and record it as a parameter for the map you want to use with.

So, later, when you choose a map, you retrieve the color you prefer with.

Hi guys,

I cannot support this idea. In locus is already very lot of various setting.

Lines you mention, has both inner color and also border color, so they should be clearly visible on all possible maps.

Also, do you know configuration file? http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu... ? Here you may change color of lines and also of the border. Hope this helps you
