Changeable magnifier size.

It would be great to have a possibility to change size of magnifier. Now magnifier is too small for me.

Robin, I agree. Its not only too small, but it is too close to the center, so it often hides an important data ( like track, guiding line, or the almost-closest neighborhood of the point). So it should be placed in one of the corners ( preferably left-bottom)

My other idea would be to get rid of the fancy-looking magnifier glass, and just leave the magnified image in some thin frame (2-5 pixel of thickness).

Also the image inside the magnifier could be sourced from the actual_zoom+1 layer, and not just scaled up, pixelated actual_zoom leyer. Of course I understand that could be more CPU-demanding. And it could be configurable somewhere.

I believe that current version of magnifier is usable in all cases. It was enlarged a little and was also removed some labels and other stuff that was previously drawn inside.

Drawing zoomlevel+1 is for sure good idea, but I'm sure it do not worth it. It would increase slowness a lot and mainly on low RAM devices cause unwanted OutOfMemory problems becuase it will be another map layer, even smaller. Magnifier should be tool for a quick help, not some ultra-sophisticated tool.

Hi

I use the Locus Map 2 weeks only, but 5 years before - another program for navigation (non-android). I can compare and say that the small circle window-magnifier is not so useful how just enlarging full map screen in 2-3 times. This approach will be easier for users and in additional, parts of maps will not be hidden by magnifier's frame.

Good day Dmitry,

Locus offer both options. This magnifier is just a small quick tool. If you wants to rescale whole map, please use for quick temporary rescale bottom right "lock" button > "Lock the zoom", or for permanent rescale of map use menu > settings > maps - advanced features > increase map resolution". Hope this helps

Good day Menion,

Thank you

Yes, it works: "Lock the zoom" + several clicks "Zoom In"
