Changes in shading for zoom level 16, Locus 3.15.3+

Solved

I'm sorry, guys...

I thought that in this version, something done with the shading of the terrain? It was pale and begins to disappear with zoom level 16, earlier it was normal and significantly 17! It was better, definitely. Where what to twist?

I've noticed this for a while: no shading at 17 or above.

There were times at 17 where shading would've helped. Not just for appearance, but actually judging a slope without searching for the contour numbers. (Which way is uphill?)

Good day guys,

I'm checking source code history for shading in Locus and since moment this function was created (middle of 2014), it was enabled only till zoom level 16. 17 and more were never shaded.

If you saw shaded maps at level 17, maybe you used any of online maps, that already has build-in own shading overlay.

I don't think I've *ever* seen shading at 17, no, but hope to see it added. I'm referring to offline maps and .HGT files.

But I don't want to distract from Igor's question (which unfortunately I don't quite understand) if he's asking something a bit different.

Okay, guys, I'm not exactly expressed. Therefore, you do not understand. Also, I was wrong about 17 scale. Maybe the picture will be clearer what I meant.

Ah sorry, Igor and I were talking about different things. I'll step aside now.

A picture is worth a thousand words. :)

Hi guys, so in the end, main (and probably only) problem seems to be in incorrect rendering of shading for zoom level 16 right? I was checking a code and found small change that probably caused this issue.

So thank you for a report and screenshots above. Issue will be fixed in next version.
