Different POI Symbols between the zoomlevel

Hi there,

between the zoomlevel 10 and 11 the symbol changed from the original to an circle symbol. Can i sitch off that. i want to use my own poi symbols all over the zoomlevel.

Hello Thomas

in locus folder you will find file config.cfg

open it e.g. with Notepad and modify following value

# allows to define zoom level for points simplification. So value 14 for example

# means, that simplification may occur in levels 1 - 14. (default: 10)

# - disable simplification at all: 0

# - till zoom value (1 - 22 'include'): X

map_items_points_simplification_till_zoom=10

Fair enough. Thomas may have been able to help himself, not need support time, if there was documentation. But doco has a cost too.

The truth is, most people even don't know that there is any documentation. And if they find out, they consider it too concise and technical. Actually, there is a chapter about the config file but Menion limited its content to only a few tags regarding style of map items.
