Duplicate root folder error

Solved

After upgrading Locus Pro, I always get an error message when I start up my phone:

"Duplicate root folder found

- /mnt/ext_card/Locus (Used)

-/mnt/sdcard/Locus"

How can I solve this and get rid of the message?

Thanks

Fredric

Hi Frederic,

as Patrik wrote, this message is to allow to remove by some accident created directory in your device. Anyway because most people do not understand reason why I show this message, in next version, this will be just text in "About application" screen, not directly popup dialog.

Anyway just check if you have maps and data in first mentioned directory and if so, simply delete (or just temporary rename) second directory

Hi,

I get the same message (Samsung i9305). In my case the reason is simply that the folder is (probably intentionally) mounted two times: /storage/extSdCard + /mnt/extSdCard.

So in my case it probably is a feature, not a bug and therefore the message is misleading.

Cheers

Thank you Klaus, I already received same information over support email.

In today bug-fix version will be also check, if content of directories is same, so in your case Locus should recognize that directories are same.

Hello Piero, are you using latest Locus version 2.9.2?
