Hi Wolfgang. Thanks a lot for your quick answer. On the site, where your link is pointing to, I only found the filters related to the Map. What I was looking for is to filter in a specific points folder. What I'm doing now to see only selectet Caches is: I select (make visible with the eye-symbol) the wanted Caches, and then I copy them to a special folder. A filter to display only visible Caches woud be much more comfortable...

Hello Christian,

interesting usage. Why do you want to see only visible caches when you see them directly on the map?

Also, balloni's suggestion is probably best what you can get. It allows you to simply see the list of nearest visible caches around your current location.

Hello Menion

Ok how do I use it: My found Geocaches are stored in a "Found" Folder and all there are invisible. Locus is configured, that when I log a "Found" the Cache will be moved to this "Found" Folder and they keep the visibility. During my travel home I use to write notes to the found Caches or prepare logtext. When i was hunting Geocaches in a big area the map does not serve very well, too crowded to see the found Caches. Here I use the described copy to folder usage... Certenly it would be one step less, if Locus would move found Caches to the special folder... but still I have to move the commented Caches to "Found"-folder...

Im not saying, that it isn't working but really comfortable would be a Filter. :-)

Regards, Christian

Good day Christian,

thanks for the precise description of your use-case.

I'm thinking about it and trying to imagine practical use, other then what you wrote. Mainly in case, I do not work with caches, but with own regular points.

Why should I want to see only visible points? I really do not know. It also complicate life a little, because to show any new point, I firstly have to cancel the enabled filter.

So sorry, you will have to live with the current workaround, sorry.
