Free downloads overrule basemap; only one download is visible

today I tried to download 2 of the 3 free offline-maps on my smartphone. I wanted France-North and France-South. Result was only 1 map downloaded and the base-map (Europe) was gone. After I deleted the downloaded map, the base-map returned again. Now I spoiled my 3 free downloads and only have the basemap left. What did I do wrong?

Dear Els,

I'm not sure if I can understand your question. What exactly mean Europe Base-map? Would you please provide the screenshot of Menu > Map > Offline screen ?

While opening Locus I saw a updaten. Next opening the maps offline suddenly there were 2 offline maps. France south is missing, due to my delete action earlier this afternoon. So the problem seems to be fixed

But...... after selecting an offline map, this is the result.without the offlinemap I had access to complete europe. How do I get that back?

Hi Els,

thank you for srceenshots. I hope this is probably some misunderstanding. When you select any offline LoMaps then Locus loads only offline LoMaps maps. For this reason you can see France and Netherland map.

There isn't any Europe Basemap offline map. I thing that mentioned Europe background map was any online map. You can select different online map in Menu > Maps > Tab Online. I can suggest for example OSM Outdoor - Outdoor.

I can also suggest to download LoMaps World base map. You can download it in Menu > Store > By region > Worldwide > Maps > World base map. This is really LoMaps base map that Locus automatically displays when you zoom-out any LoMap map.
