When GPS fix acquired, sound for GPS fix lost is played.
When GPS fix lost, sound for GPS fix acquired is played.
Often the sound is not played at all.
The same problem 
this problem happen with internal GPS or Bluetooth GPS?
In Locus is also a small timeout. This means locus will not disturb you more often then once per minute.

I am using internal GPS.
Actually I didn`t know about this timeout. I tried to test it ones more. It seems that if device is left and not touched at place with poor GPS signal, it behaves correctly - from time to time fix is acquired or lost and appropriate sound is played.
If I play with the device, turn GPS on and off, I sometimes get wrong signal, but I am unable to describe exact steps to reproduce the error. So I am sorry for confusion.
The only error I am able to describe clearly is:
- go to GPS screen
- wait for GPS fix
- turn GPS off by taping satellites
- sound for GPS fix acquired is played
Beside that I would say vibration notifications for GPS don`t work at all (but maybe it is affected by other settings of phone).
