How can I see the logstate of a cache

Hi,

after 3 month and 150 found caches I have one problem I fond no workarround.

When I search caches on a tour I log them online when I just do a standard log.

If I want to write more I log them offline .... and later at home I finish the log.

Found caches are automaticly moved in a Found folder.

And now my problem ...

There is no way to see wether the cache is already logged online or just only offline.

A visible flag would be helpful. And maybe it exists ... because if you try to upload a second time Locus asks directly if you want to repeat your online log.

Example: try to find out what cache isn't logged already ...

Hi Jonny,

all caches that are logged offline are visible in Log manager (menu > more > geocaching tools)

Thank you, Michal Stupka, for your answers. Just found this forum on the subject.

Can I recommend this forum to my friends?

Oh, thanks.

And how can I edit the text from there?

Hi Jonny,

from there itΒ΄s not possible to edit your log ...

either you open cache listing basic tab > 3dot-button>edit

or you use addon "FieldNotes" with filter> not logged, so not online logged caches (all log types) are visible there.

most needed actions can be done there: edit, smilies, FP, text templates, modify timestamp a.s.o

not possible with FN: log trackables, add photo to your log

Then the logmanager is worthless for me ... because especially these logs I want to edit (and log my trackables, and add some photos). πŸ€€πŸ˜“

... and with the addon fieldnotes I would have the same problem. 😰

Isn't it possible for a developer πŸ€”πŸ™„...

- to show "not uploaded" fieldnotes as a flag in the cache list/detail (because all the information is within Locus)

- to start the full edit mode from the logmanager ?

Hi Jonny,

to start the full edit mode from the log manager - long press a log > cache detail opens > select "edit" from the field note action menu:

As far I know, you have to enablr\e the cache mode for the offline, for that you have to restart the mode and then after scrolling down to the bottom, you will get the relaunch button. There you can enable the offline cache mode. For further queries Dell bios laptop
