How to add track points

I touch the point then hit "edit on map" "insert /edit track point" which draws a perforated line between the point I'm adding to to the presumed new point I am about to add in the middle of the map. But seemingly like a cruel joke after you hit "ok" nothing happens and you can go back and try it ten times and will never find another button to successfully get your new point added. I saw a help guide on this from another thread but it didn't help. So what's the "ok" in the upper right corner of the screen there for anyway?

I have a path that I made that is too long. Somehow I cut it in the middle and now it's broken, as I want it so I can redraw the path shorter before connecting it back up. So after I select either of the two disjointed points, how do add points to them just like you can EASILY do when you start drawing tracks. This has got to be one of the most user unfriendly experiences I've had with an app.

Okay, somehow I figured it out almost but it's the most god awful method of editing a track possible to the human imagination that I couldn't even begin to describe to someone. But ill try : no i can't. It's insane. You have to think backwards and add points then go forward to reposition the last point you had to move to make room for the new point you added - back in time into the track... And adding points you end up with five new ones... It's like you're a cat wrapped up in a ball of yarn but you're not playing, you have a life to attend to. I can't even articulate this without feeling pain in my head. I hope you guys fix this or offer some university training courses or something. God...

Hi,

the first paragraph describes a bug - thank you very much for reporting it!

Merging two tracks is quite simple - select two track you want to merge in the track manager and select "Merge" from the bottom bar menu. More about editing tracks can be found out here without much pain in the head: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:planning
