Imported track is not displayed on map

Solved

Hi,

I am using Locus Map Pro 3.19.0. I have a problem when importing tracks. These tracks were created with QLandkarte GT for tour planning. There are four tracks in the GPX. Two of them are imported correctly, the other two are also listed under "Tracks" in Locus but the shown distance is 0 and they are not displayed on the map. The GPX is attached.

The main difference between these tracks is that the distance between consecutive points is relatively large in the tracks that are not displayed.

Thanks in advance,

Thomas.

Good day Thomas,

I'm checking your file and problem is quite simple. Locus has internal mechanism that prevent storing of nonsense values for trackpoints. In this case, for example your track "Rundreise", has immediately on second point speed around 27.000 km/h!!! QLandkarte generate also times for trackpoints and every trackpoint has time increased by 0.001 sec compare to previous. This cause enormous speed values and Locus refuse to import them.

I'm sorry, but such values does not make sense. Isn't in this program some option to disable generating of times at all or some option to define how big should be change in time between points? Thanks

Hi Menion, I have also noticed this fast strange speed.

For your information is importable in gpx editor and in Basecamp.

not nice :)

a small message would help here.

eg. "track xy ignored : bad speed data inside"

Hi,

I did not pay too much attention to the point that the speed was incredibly high. I thought this would not matter. Now that I know that I found an option in QLandkarte to set the speed to a reasonable number. Now everything is displayed correctly in Locus!

Thanks for your help,

Thomas.

Hello,

perfect Thomas, glad it works.

And gynta agree, not nice solution. But very very hard to fix it. I'll give it as another "todo" task, to my neverending list of needed improvements ... :).
