Lock screen flashes when disabled

myneur shared this problem 8 years ago
Closed

When screen is locked and „Disable lock screen“ active. The lock screen flashes over when entering/leaving Settings or Maps (Quick Switch is OK). When Fullscreen active, sometimes even the overlay explaining the fullscreen asking for OK confirmation appears.

This is very disturbing, although the Disable lock screen feature is great because you really don't need to secure the maps..

Hope the fix will be easy...

Android 4.4.4, Xperia Z3 Compact

Thank you, m

Good day myneur,

quite old topic, sorry for a delay. You have probably noticed changes in "Disable lock screen" feature in Locus. If not, check it's settings. If you still has such problems, I suggest to test only non-secure lock screen + "Basic screen lock" settings in Locus. This should work correctly.

If you use different combination, mainly secured lock screen, then there may be a troubles, but they are currently unsolvable for me, sorry.

Let me know.

Hi I tried it (the disco circus is faster after upgrade to Android M), but the lock screen still flashes there when accessing the settings.

It is just disturbing, not critical, so it is up to you if you are willing to solve it or no. It is just strange that the lock screen flashes while you stay within the app. So if there is no easy solution, just close it.

Hmm and are we talking about basic, non-secured, slide-to-unlock lock screen?

It's little bit surprising as I use Sony Z1C and there are no such problems (never noticed) even I expect that Android ROM will be really really similar (same).

Even if I would like to solve it, to be true I do not know how. There is so small control over work of lock screen from withing an app, there I have really limited possibilities here.

No I talk about the secured lock. I use it because Chrome shares all passwords with the desktop which is great, but make it risky to keep phone open. If somebody steals it, he could steal your accounts if he is quick, even if you have 2factor authentication. That was a reason for me to lock the screen which I did not do before. And I actually bought Z5C because of the fingerprint unlock, so I am not disturbed by the pin.

OK, I understand if it is not possible to fix it..

Ah "secured", then as I wrote, I'm sorry, I do not have a solution for now.
