Locus location permission on android6

Hello menion

playing with permissions to understand problem of another thread, i found a small unfortunate behavior.

If location permission for Locus is not allowed, user get on Locus start a info window,

if he unconsciously/unsuspecting check "never ask again" and confirm "deny", on next start of Locus a info window appear, but the "GRANT" button didn´t react and Locus can´t be started.

So unskilled users didn´t realize how to solve it.

I think a hint "enable location permission in your device settings" would be helpful.

Hello balloni,

yep, known problem. Unfortunately when user set this "deny - never ask again", every tap on "grant" result in exactly same result as when you tap on "deny" on first time. I want to say, they for Locus, there is no difference in "deny" or "deny (never ask again)". Quite a problem and I remember already at least two support topics with this issue ...

Seems I'll have to start search for some "hack" that allows to detect is this "don't ask" option is enabled...
