Hello,

depending on 4 GB file limit i create a map ZL 12-15, ~2GB and from same area ZL 16, ~3GB

how can i get it work to zoom over all available zoomlevels, without selecting the other map file manually?

Good evening balloni,

placing all these maps into same sub-directory do not work for you?

Hello menion,

> sub-directory

was the magic word, thanks for pointing me on this !

after it works, i search in the manual and found description in "yellow info box"

http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_external

- there is no info what will be merged, different areas or/and additional zoomlevels

- is it only possible on external maps?

- second part of description is confusing >place them/and than add them ??? for me it´s twice

- geman description is more confusing than english.

Hi Wolfgang, the part regarding externals in one folder has been revised in EN version. The DE translator has been informed so he'l take care of the German text soon.

Thanks Michal. Alternative to add maps without "merging" is also adding these maps directly in "External maps" dialog. It's not needed to pick a "folder", it's possible to pick a "file" directly.

Don't understand ...

In manual is now: "If you want to add external maps to Locus without merging them, store

them into individual subfolders and then add them one by one."

So I've reacted on this. You may also add every single file separately, not a whole folder at once. It's more hint for Michal, not for You :).

I rewrote the English text and added all required information - isn't it still "optimal"?
