Werner S shared this problem 6 years ago
Solved

New HRM Polar H10 is recognized in BT manager but dropped immediatly after selection.

No connection possible (sensor not connected).

BTM rescanns, find device again and so on. I'm using Locus Pro on Samsung S7.

Could you pleas help on this issue? Thanks a lot.

Good day Werner,

sorry to hear about troubles with Locus Map.

Please check following:

- in BT Manager, you are using "Heart rate monitor (BT 4.0)", not any other option

- device is not paired in Android itself. Locus Map needs to establish connection ( difference compare to older Bluetooth devices )

- if above is correct, try to tap on "tools" button in BT manager and choose "Remove association" of sensor

Let me know if it works now. If not, it will probably needs a special version that will print out some information, so let me know if you are interested.

Thank you.

Hi Menion,

thanks for quick support.

After I have unpaired in andoid and connect with BT manager it works fine.

Also dashboards using heart rate works fine.

Thanks for great support and app.

Good day Werner,

it is second time, this solution helped on BT connection problems this months. I looks more and more that we need to rewrite our BT manager system.

Anyway I'm glad it helped and connection works!

Hi Menion,

Does this mean I can't use my smartwatch to display recording info (speed, altitude, etc.) and to send heart rate data to Locus at the same time?

I have a Polar M600. In order to use Wear for Locus, I need to pair it with my phone. But when I try to use bluetooth manager to connect to the heart rate monitor of my watch (using bt 4.0) it can't even find my watch. (trying with polar connection, it does find it, but gives "Unable to connect to device" message).

Hello Miklós,

the bluetooth manager won't help you since Wear OS devices are not supported like this. You need to install Wear for Locus Map add-on on your phone and then on your watch to "pair" your Locus Map with the watch.

That said, HRM synchronization is not supported right now by the add-on. I hope I will have time to implement it really soon because I have already promised this function to someone else and it should have been implemented by now, but due to more pressing matters it is not. Sorry :(

Best Regards

Hi Milan,

First off I'm really happy to see how quickly you have answered. Also I'm happy to hear this is a feature that soon will be implemented. Keep up with the good work!
