Outoor Active trial:access denied

Solved

Hi. I subscribed for a trial of Outoor Active map, but although I got a confirmation mail, about the subscription, the map only tells me „Access Denied“ as seen in the screenshot and shows nothing.

Non of the scales show anything. All the time just Access Denied.

BTW: I see you offer only the Summer and Winter OA map. What about the others, like their the Gradient overlay, which is great to check steep slopes (outdooractive.com/map/xGradient/).

Thanks for your help.

Hello myneur,

this is really really interesting. Try to select your map from list of online maps once more please. Also check if you have correctly loaded your profile directly in Locus Store side menu. To be true, I see no reason why this should happen in case, you have purchased subscription on current device.

Other maps: it's more on colleague Petr, anyway I remember we discuss this and decided, that to start, these two with all possible layers will be enough.

Hi, I've tried even restarting Locus and checking that on my other device using a same Google Account. But with the same result. m

I'm quite precisely checking a code and seems that really only reason why this happen should be

a) missing Locus Store account

b) invalid data in map cache. Maybe you had some time ago same custom map, with same map name? You may try to clear a cache in context menu of OA winter map if it helps.

Otherwise I'll have to create for you some special version that will print out some useful info, to find out a real reason.

Really sorry for such troubles.

Thanks. I've ruthlessly destroyed all the cashes I found and it seems it started to work. Thanks, m

BTW: the gradient can be turned on in the WMS layers of the map accessible from the „kebab icon“ of the map. Thanks, m

Interesting. So you mean it is possible that you had previously some un-officially working Outdoor Active maps, that had exactly same name? So Locus now started to use same SQLite file for a cache, which do not work because data are in new version stored in little bit different way? Interesting, I completely missed this possibility.

Anyway I'm really glad it works :).
