Petrol station icons won't hide in road theme

With road theme, petrol station icons are displayed as POI, or optionally grouped, but when I delete temporary map items, the counts or individual icons are temporarily hidden but then reappear a few seconds later. It seems to be the only POI for which this occurs. The icons or counts clutter up the map.

issue I see here is more that these points are also removed with "Remove temp map items" feature and not that they re-appear after a while. These points are part of "LoPoints" database that is downloaded together with LoMaps from Locus Store and they appear as clickable points on the map.
Any suggestion how to deal with them better?

For me the Road theme doesn't automatically equate to cars and/ or fuel station. I find it very useful because of all themes it is least cluttered. This has great benefit when doing a search of points, and enable the display of nearest 100. Especially useful for shop points to determine closest one along current cycling route. The Locus points have quite weak (not saturated) colour scheme and a very hard to view on a cluttered map. Anyway, I was going to provide a screen shot and now Road theme doesn't show any fuel station icons, weird. I can do a point search to find one, delete temporary map items, zoom in quite close, but no icon as previously described.

The "problem" appears to change with time. Should the road theme display LoMap gas stations or not? At present it doesn't. At the time of original topic it did. Or if zoomed out enough a POI count was displayed, now not. I'm happy enough with that, but something is inconsistent in the display.

Ok, it seems if I display gas station POI, then hide/ remove those POI, that LoMap icons (underneath) are not refreshed. Bug?
