Prepare navigation route on tablet and transfer to phone

I have 2 questions about creating a new route for navigation.

One of the functions is to "Add new route & measure". And the idea is to prepare a route, including navigation, on my android tablet and transfer it afterwarts to my smartphone. The advantage would be to have a larger screen for preparing.

Would this be possible?

Second question is, do I need to buy an extra license for it?

Thanks

Hello Marc,

firstly - additional license is not needed. You may install Locus on all devices, where you`ll have added your email account

secondly - did you tried it? Try to draw route, store it in Locus and then export it to card as GPX file. Then try to import this GPX file into your second device. This should work correctly with all possible navigation parameters

Hey Menion,

Didn`t try it yet. I was an idea that crossed my mind during cycling.

But now that I know that I can use the same license I will try it this weekend.

Keep you informed!

Installed locus on MySpace tablet, than exported to gpx. Next step was than to transfer to my smartphone (used dropbox) and import it. After import I could select the route for navigation. So, test successful until now. Only have to check a real ride now.

Combination of tablet and phone works great!!!
