Problems with size of icons after zoom

as I see on screenshots, problem is really connected only to geocaching traditional caches?

What is source of your points, import from Geocaching4Locus, or PocketQuery, Live map?? When you move a map away and then return back, size of icons is still different compare to rest of icons? I've never saw such problem, weird. Try to let me know anything that may help to simulate same problem on my own device, thanks.

The problem comes from the live map

The bug disappears after removing the cache and data from the Geocaching4Locus plugin. But the problem comes back quickly

this will be a problem mainly because I'm unable to simulate this problem. Are you using any custom icons for caches or do you use different scale for icons then default 100%? Anything un-usuall should be useful here.

Also what device and rom are you using? This should not be connected to Android & device, but just for sure to know.

My smartphone is a Sony Xperia Z5 and the system is Marshmallow.

In the "map" setting the incons are on a 130% scale and these are the default icons for Geocaching

Had same issue shortly after introducing "hide points" feature on points icon.. cannot recall what i did to solve it. Maybe it was clear temporary data inside settings.. i stuggled to fix it.

I'm also heavy user of live map and geocaching4locus user... could be related.

Anyway, after solving it.. never seen it again

hmm this will be complicated :).

It have to be really really rare problem because I've never saw it on own device. Only method that I may use here to solve it is to create for you special test version that will print out some values to log. Anyway I'm almost sure, that if I send you test version, it will work without problems.

So please, may you

1. download and try from Google Play app Locus Map Free and test it? If this will work, create for me "backup of settings" over backup manager in your problematic Locus Map Pro and send me this backup.

2. If also Locus Map Free will cause these problems, I'll gladly prepare for you special test version with hope, it will bring some light.

As I said, issue is gone on my device. I'm not able to simulate what/when caused this issue, I just confirmed I've seen it too.

User need to chime in and tell what he/she did just before this occurred. I don't think "normal" use of app will show this behaviour.

As I see it, user had some kind of sorting on types, change mode, theme, setting, config-file setting or whatever, then choose to show all.. maybe Argumented Reality plugin involved?

I installed the free version ...

For now, the display bug has not appeared.

I will continue to do tests and I will keep you informed. :)

Hallgeir, weird is that I can't imagine anything except "scale of map icons" settings, that should affect this. As I wrote before, if Free version works fine, then special test version will have no use here. So maybe a backup of settings, that I may restore on own device and test, may helps here.

Btw. you may also try this on own device ... do a backup of settings in your Pro version and simply restore it in your Free version installation.

The bug did not appear in Locus Free ...

So I decided to reset the Pro version ... I then reconfigured it ...

To date, the bug has not reappeared!

Sorry to post again, but just got this different icon sizes again.

Startet with Live map, applied filter D/T 1-3....

When i logged (offline) one traditional cache, icons f**ked up.

Notice its the trad. icons thats too small, others are normal size.

The smileys are offline logged, not yet uploaded.

Advice me if further testing should be performed.

thanks. Unfortunately no matter what I try, I'm unable to simulate this problem. I'll try to use Locus Map with scale of icons other then 100% with hope, same issue happen to me as well. Fortunately it is not a serious malfunction problem and app is still usable with this. Thanks

Is it somewhat connected to Geocaching4Locus dialog box (orange) "Point is not stored in database" message?

I'm doin an offline log, its not uploaded to groundspeak yet, so live-map just use a temp db from inside G4L addon... so G4L just display icon 100% scale?

I have no idea and its not a big deal. Disabling live-map and disabling all visible items usually fix it.

I'm trying to get rid of some older unsolved problems ... like this one.

Few months ago, I made some changes in rendering system of points, so I wanted to ask if same problem still happen to anyone of you? Let me know if it repeatedly appear. If so, I may create some special test version to print us more info into logs, anyway I believe that problem should be solved for now.
