It would be nice if we could assign a new color to selected tracks in one go (or maybe assign a color per category?)

"Auto assign a color based on track recording profile" is close but not quite the same. Actually the same functionality based on a track category would be great (e.g. each category could have custom settings, color, etc...)

Hello Arnaud,

I just today added ability to define specific line style for every track folder and ability to choose for every track, if use own track style or style from folder. Is this what cover your idea?
