Quick switch show/hide all POIs in directory

Completed

I suggest add quick switch for show/hide all POIs in category. For example, I have category Geocaching and most of time I have it all hide. But sometimes I want show them and it is uncomfortable. I must go to Data>Points>some category (in my case Geocaching)>click select>then select all (same when i want all poi hide).

I suggest add quick switch into tab Points (in Data screen) to each of POIs direcotry (category).

Thank you ;-)

I have the same request as this. It is quite a long process to show and hide folders, but it is quite useful to be able to do it, as hiding unneeded folders de-clutters the map and also speeds it up significantly.

Has any progress been made on adding this option?

I tried to follow the link posted above, but the link is dead, so I cannot see what the work discussed above is.

Hello Phil

As I'm reading again this topic from Matej, I think it's two things at once

1) show/hide points on map - it means keep them loaded in memory, but just do not display them. This is currently not possible

2) load/unload points on map - it means load them from database and show them on map, or hide and unload them. Same as when you check point in any folder (and also same as Matej wrote > "I must go to Data > Points > some category > click select >then select all") . This is already possible simply by tapping on folder icon in list of folders.

So question for me is which, point 1 or point 2 is this topic about

Hi Jiří,

Yes, I realise now that different use of words can be interpreted veery differently. Sorry for that.

I was also referring to point 2, to hide and unload from memory the points that were currently not needed, the same as Matej mentioned.

I too have been doing it the way Matej did, by going into the folder, clicking select, theen select (or deselect) all.

I had no idea you could do so by just tapping the folder icon! That is perfect...that makes life much easier than the other way. I was trying to do it by clicking the little menu button to the right of the folder name and looking for the option there. It never occured to me to tap the icon.

Thanks for that :)

Perfect, you are welcome.

I think that Matej also though that second point, so I'm closing this as "Implemented" for now.
