Hi Amy,

move your maps to SD card via the phone file manager. Then tap "add" button in Locus map manager and select "Add external maps", find your maps on the SD card and confirm. The maps will appear in your offline map tab.

In Canada, Locus Map provides two kinds of maps - online 4UMaps that can be downloaded for offline use for free (Maps > Online > Canada) and offline vector Locus Maps that are available in Locus Store for symbolic price (Menu > Store > by country > Canada)

L = LoCoin, virtual currency used in our Locus Store. 100 L = approx. 1.3 USD. LoCoins have no expiry date. More about Locus Store and LoCoins: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:locus_store:about

Hi Amy, if you have Android 4.4.2. or newer, it's not possible for Locus Map to download maps to SD card - Google disabled it. I recommend this workaround - free as much internal space as possible, download maps (they'll appear in Locus/Maps directory as xxx.sqlitedb file). Then move them manually to SD card (with the phone file manager), open Locus, go to Map manager, tap the PLUS button > add external maps > add your maps
