Hi !,

I'm trying to show labels on waypoints, but the option is not in the menu. I looked in the documentation (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:settings:map_objects) and my menu seems to be different...

Have a look at the attached file

Thanks !

Hi Charles,

the doku is unfortunately not up to date......

and it seems you use the FREE-version of locus and what you want is only available in PRO

Hi,

This option was available in free version 3.3.1. Is it possible to install older version instead of 3.6.2 ?

Thanks

Hi Charles, @balloni55 is right, the documentation is obsolete and we are working on a new one. We expect it to be done in a month or two. You can set the action after tapping the point this way: Settings > Map - objects&style > Tap on point > select Popup (former label) or Screen (fullscreen info window). PRO owner can additionally influence the content of the popup.

As for older version of Locus Map, I'm afraid there's only 3.5.3. available for Android <4.0. users, links are here: http://www.locusmap.eu/news-version-3-6-0/. However, that doesn't solve your problem, the feature you're looking for is in PRO version only since much older versions.

Exactly as Michal wrote.

Just to make it precise, I think this change that you worry, was made right since version 3.6.0 - http://help.locusmap.eu/announcement/version-3-6-0-30-1-2015

It's because of "(PRO) ability to define (limited possibilities) content of Popup labels for points". We decided to put all settings related to content of point/track popups just into Locus Pro.

So I suggest to check mentioned version 3.5.3 if this solve your issue,. Thanks for understanding.
