Store download error 93

I want to download the "Northern Ireland - LoMaps & Addresses" from the Locus-Store but when I press the download button I always get an error "unknown problem" code: 93. The strange thing is that I was never asked to pay for the map. A few minutes before I bought another LoMaps map from the Store and was able to successfully download the maps. What can I do to download this map?

I tried to d/l my second 'free' map, but I get the errorcode 93. Tried rebooting my device, but still same error. Bought the Pro version, now I don't even find the free map offer anymore, but if I browse the store, trying to d/l the map, I get the same error again...

Hi,

I'm sorry for troubles. It seems that there can be issue with caching of your profile on the server and also into app. we'll check it. As quick workaround please try to "Change account" from the right panel > open again the account panel and log-in with the same account. Please note it's only temporary solution and it may not help in 100% situation.

Hello,

I'm very sorry for the delay that was caused due to weekend. However the issue with error 93 should be fixed (as I wrote in PM). Please close Locus (wait for 5 sec) > start it again > open Menu > Locus Store and check the problematic maps.

Please let me know about progress.

Ok, so I found it in the store part. I logged out, restarted the app, logged in again and received the same error 93...

Hi,

thank you for the test. Could I ask you: did you renew the downloading from notification center or from item detail in Locus Store? Please delete all warning in notification center, open Menu > Store > search for the problematic map > open detail and send me the screenshot. Can you see the "Download" button or "Download" with the symbol of a gift?

I continued to have the problem as well I saw in the notification center the "downloading from store" process error message, I deleted this., restarted the app (not sure if this was necessary) and was then able to download OK

Thanks, I hadn't considered the possibility the notification could be involved.

I had previously tried both from the notificationa and from the store to dl the map. With the same result.

But after dismissing the notification and restarting the app, I went into the store and successfully downloaded the map from scratch.

I'll be looking forward to testing the app for geocaching purposes. I come from the Windows Mobile world and have used Maaloo Outdoor for a long time, and am not so happy about the official geocaching app, nor c:geo on android.

One feature I miss is to have the compass overlaid on the map, so I can see both. That is a great feature. In that mode, the compass is merely a circle with the main cardinals and a pointer that floats over the map, so it's see-through.

Thank you for info, I'm sorry that I didn't realize that notification center holds wrong definition for downloading.

When it comes to compass: it's possible but it's quite complicated because you need to create "custom screen" - please see http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/how-to-put-compass-rose-on-the-screen
