All my tracks are coloured with speed. But normally there are single points in the track with the maximum speed high above the normal speed. As the result the track is overall green. It would by better, when only certain range of the standard deviation would be used.
For example a track of bicycle trip. The mean speed is 25 km/h. I want to see 20 as blue and 30 as red. That means 20 percent from the mean speed. With adjusting this value I could see speed during the track much better.

I would like this also, and specifically for my usecase I want the color to be say black for any time the speed is below a certain settable limit and coloration based on speed above that limit. A similar thing could be done for an upper limit, but isn't something that would be useful for me. I think also for the original ask the lower limit would likely suffice as well.

if we could set custom colours and more imprtantly labels, this would be usefull for the horse community, ive got several clients who wont leave their horse ride tracking app because of this feature, they would also need statistics like how many minutes of teh track were in one category...
