turn by turn navigation: violett trackline hiding streetnames

I love locus!! BUT during turn by turn navigation the track line is violett, fat and not transparent - it is hiding the streetnames!! how can i change that?? it would be great to make that line thinner and transparent!!

we are sorry for the trouble, there isn`t an option for editing of look of the track line in the app.
In every way, thank you for your idea. If you want, you can create a topic for this theme here, on Get satisfaction. The number of votes can decided, if the function will be in the Locus or not.

I really hope you are not going to try and read street names on a small phone screen while driving :)

hehe, i use it mostly for hiking or before i go by car somewhere. But on 4 Zoll display and good zoom level it would be really possible to read the streetnames.

mabe you can help me one more time: for geocaching i wanted to use a satellite map with good resolution, but the only one i have is from mapQuest. How or where can i get good satellite or hybrid maps (Austria)

in the application are available the MapQuest satellite and hybrid maps only.
For add your idea, please choose an option "Share an idea" in top panel of the Get Satisfaction https://getsatisfaction.com/locus and insert text to the panel.

Does this mean I can now make navigation tracks transparent??
In the latest version of locus I can see how to make them thinner, but not how to make them transparent (which would be very useful). Am I missing something?

yes you can. When you tap on "set color" preference, you should be able to select transparency with bottom slider. Anyway I discovered today that on smaller phones, transparency slider is not visible in landscape mode, so try to rotate your phone for this case. This should work ...
