V 3.9.3 and Sygic 15.2.5 do not work together

Peter Engels shared this problem 8 years ago
Solved

Locus Pro (3.9.3) does not override a target to actual Sygic 15.2.5

After choosing sygic for routing, Sygic starts up, but has no target to route to. (this is fact in my Samsung S3)

I have another Mobile Device(a Nexus 7) with Sygic 14.0.2 (Sygic is a mess since V15) and Locus 3.9.0 and with this combination I am still satisfied at all.

So how can I can get back a Locus Pro 3.90 to my Samsung S3 ? then I can downgrade here to Sygic 14.0.2 - and I will be happy again.

I think older versions that work correct are better than new Versions which do not work with each other....

Or are you able to bring the new Versions (Locus 3.9.x and Sygic 15.x together and they will work together than in the past ?

Kind regards,

Peter

Good day Peter,

one user already reported this problem over email few days ago. Unfortunately only official page on Sygic web with information about "call" from 3rp party apps (like Locus) was removed and I'm unable to find any useful information. I've changed anyway a few more parameters and we will see in next version. Anyway if it still won't work, I'll removed this button from Locus completely as it cause more troubles then usage.

Thanks for a report!

Hi Menion,

Locus Pro and Sygic was an ideal combination for me over the last 2 1/2 years... it was working perfectly.

I would be very sad if this option would be removed (this combination worked completely offline)

Perhaps you can change back to the Interface you used in Locus 3.9, so it will still work with Sygic 14.x.

I know a lot of users who prefer Sygic 14.x instead of 15.x

Finally I was able to get Locus 3.9.0 back to my S3 Phone,

with Sygic 14.0.2 I'm happy again.

For the future I will reject all updates for Locus, until an option is offered which offers the same functionallity as with the Locus 3.9.0 / Sygic 14.0.2 combination

(forwarding of cache coordinates to a routing program with full offline functionallity)

Regards,

Peter

(I was not very happy with your support in not providing an older version)

Hello Peter,

so you have solved your problem by yourself. Perfect.

As I wrote, in next Locus version will be a small change, so we will if it will work now (you may test it in fresh Beta version).

I didn't solve the problem, I only downgraded Locus to 3.9.0 :-(

Just tell me how I can download the new Beta if it's available,

I'll give it a try.

And I really updated Sygic to 15.3.4 (ACTUAL version)

And also with this version Locus 3.10.3 transferes the Cache Coordinates to the new Sygic Version .

really good work !! keep this on :-) and never change it again :-)

But now I will immediately downgrade to Sygic 14.0.2
