When downloading Maps from MapQuest it gets stuck on 'Working...'

When downloading Maps from MapQuest it gets stuck on 'Working...'.
I'm going cycling in a couple of hours and I'll need to put my phone into offline mode otherwise it'll run out of battery!
It has no problem viewing maps online and then it happily caches them.

sorry for a troubles, unfortunately it's not possible to find out reason for this issue without a log with error message. May you try to create a log by this method?

I've gone through my route at 100m level so it's all cached. I won't have time now so I'll give this a go tomorrow.
